Readiness Training and Crew Work-Up
Delivered via a combination of classroom instruction, simulation and on-board trainingand coaching, our training focuses on crew safety, ship handling, tactical awareness and mission readiness. The approach is flexible and can be adapted tothe specific needs of the customer, whether that’s preparing for first-time operations or enhancing experienced teams.
Simulator and
Gaming
To support organisations in raising awareness and strengthening tactical decision-making skills. The course is conducted at Navtrain’s own simulator in Den Helder, The Netherlands. On special request it’s optional to facilitate on location (simulator) training. This setup offers a unique and accessible education and training for professionals that are not able to participate in classified training programmes.
Consultancy and Capability Building
We support navies and coast guards in designing, improving or restructuring training organisations, operational facilities, and doctrine development. This ranges from writing Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) and conducting Red Teaming, to crew design and “train-the-trainer” implementation. Our people have played key roles in the transfer of Netherlands naval vessels to foreign customer and have extensive experience in transfer of knowhow during such transitions.
Support for Naval Shipbuilders
Navtrain cooperates closely with shipyards that require professional sea training fortheir customers when receiving new vessels. These services ensure that crews can operate their new platform more safely and effectively. We’ve supported global shipyards across Europe, LATAM, the Middle East and Asia.
